The government of West Bengal invites applicants to apply online for Oasis Scholarship 2023-24 before the last date available here. All eligible students can submit Online Oasis Scholarship 2023 Application Form through the official website www.oasis.gov.in. This is an Online Portal for Scholarships provided by Backward Classes Welfare Department, West Bengal. Through Oasis Scholarship Portal, students can apply for both Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship.

Benefits of Scholarships
The Backward Classes Welfare Department, West Bengal Government provide scholarship amount to selected students. But for each scholarship program, benefits are different. Here we provide all Scholarships Rewards given by the government.
- Pre Matric Scholarship For SC Students
Day Scholars – Rs. 150 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of Rs. 750 per annum.
Hostellers – Rs. 750 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of Rs. 1,000 per annum.
- Pre Matric Scholarship For ST Students
Day Scholars – Rs. 150 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of Rs. 750 per annum.
Hostellers – Rs. 750 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of Rs. 1,000 per annum.
- Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST Students
Day Scholars – Maintenance allowance of up to Rs. 550 per month.
Hostellers – Maintenance allowance of up to Rs. 1200 per month.
- Post Matric Scholarship For OBC Students
Day Scholars – Rs. 335 per month.
Hostellers – Rs. 510 per month.
Oasis Scholarship 2023 – Application Process
Students who wish to fill the application form for scholarships can follow the given registration process for Oasis Scholarship Portal.
Student’s Registration
- Visit the official website of Oasis Scholarship i.e http://oasis.gov.in/.
- Click on “Student’s Registration” tab.
- Select your district.
- Online Registration Form will get open on your computer screen.
- Fill all required details correctly such as Name, Father’s Name, Gender, etc.
- Click on the Submit button.
Registered Student’s Login
- First, click on “Registered Student’s Login” tab from the home page.
- The login page opens.
- Fill User ID, Password and select your district.
- And click on Login.
Scholarship Application Form
- Once you get Login successfully, your dashboard will get open.
- Select the scholarship program as per your eligibility.
- Click on the Apply Now link.
- Fill Application Form using correct details.
- Recheck your details entered by you in the application form.
- And click on “Verify and Lock” button.
Print Application Form
After submission of the application form, candidates must have to take the print out of submitted application form for future use. You can take the print out by clicking on “Download Application Copy” link.
Submission of Printed Application Form
All the students must have submitted their application form after taking print out along with required documents to BDO (Block Development Officer) for Block area or PO cum DWO for municipality corporation.
Documents Submitted With Application Form Are:-
- Recent Passport size Photographs of student.
- Attested copy of caste certificate/acknowledgement slip.
- Attested copy of mark sheets and certificates of last examination passed.
Oasis Scholarship 2023 – Renewal Process

Login to your Oasis scholarship account
- Open the official website.
- Click on Login option.
- Fill the User ID and Password.
- Select your state.
- Click on Login button.
Fill Renew Application
- Once your Oasis Scholarship dashboard open.
- Click on the Renew Application link.
- Fill all the required details correctly.
- Recheck your details and click on “Renew and Lock”.
- Once you Lock your application, you are not able to change details.
Submit Renewal Application Form
After taking print out of the Renewal application form, the student must have submit their renew application form to Block Development Office (BDO) for block area or PO cum DWO for municipality corporation along with required documents.
