YSR Arogya Asara Scheme 2021-22 Andhra Pradesh
The government of Andhra Pradesh launched a new scheme named “YSR Arogya Asara Scheme“. The scheme was introduced by the government for poor patients. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the scheme on 2nd Dec. 2019. The scheme is implemented from 1st December 2019 in the state.
The scheme is started to provide financial assistance to poor patients of Andhra Pradesh. This is the first scheme in India which offers this type of service to patients. The scheme is a part of the health scheme to relief poor patients. The government provides money to patients after getting discharged from the hospital. The money will be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account within 48 Hours.
The Andhra Pradesh State Government provides a maximum of Rs.225 per day or a maximum of Rs. 5,000 per month for the prescribed relaxation time to the patients.
The state government has issued guidelines for the use of 836 types of surgeries in 26 separate departments. The patient must provide a bank account and Aadhaar card details at the time of discharge. Eligibility Criteria For AP Arogya Asara Scheme
- Patients should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- Only patients admitted to hospitals that comes under the scheme will get benefits of this scheme.
- Patients should belong to financially weak categories.
- Poor patients come from marginalized categories such as ST, OBC, SC, and minority groups will get benefits of the scheme.
